Purchasing a property in Spain is relatively simple and need not be stressful thanks to Spanish-Property-Gallery.co.uk. Unlike buying a property in the UK, the process of buying a property in Spain can be as quick as days rather than months

Firstly, you will need to come on one of our FREE property inspection trips. SPG will show you a range of properties and different areas of the Costa Blanca and Costa calida. Remember - the best properties in the world are no good if you do not like the surrounding area!

If you would like to reserve the property you like, a holding deposit of 3,000 euros (€) is required. SPG do have an agreement with the builders where we can hold a property for 24 hours whilst you carry on looking further. If you do not do this, the property will possibly be sold when you come back for it. Please be aware that the holding deposit is non-refundable, however should you have to withdraw from the purchase, SPG will pay your holding deposit on another property purchased through us at a later date.

Thereafter, a very basic contract will be signed. SPG will then take you to get your NIE numbers and go to a bank for mortgage advice or to open a bank account.

The main property contract will usually be posted to you within 1 or 2 weeks, at which time you must sign and organise the transfer of your first initial payment. Depending on the builder used, this payment would usually amount to 35% of the purchase price (some will accept as low as 20%).

SPG have arrangement that in some cases you may not need to make a further payment until the completion .

This is the final procedure until the final completion date.
